More criminals at fireworks maven's rentals

COLUMBIA, 5/12/07 (Beat Byte) -- Robert and Audrey Gerau, who own 703 and 705 Alton Avenue (featured here), also own a rental house at 20 Third Avenue, which begs the question: are the Gerau's screening their tenants?  

If so, shouldn't they have found the criminal record of their former next-door neighbor at 707 Alton, Montreil Donell Johnson?   Picking up Mr. Johnson's Nov. 6, 2006 activities when he lived at 707 Alton (above), we continue the saga two short weeks later, after he moved to 20 Third Avenue....

Nov. 22, 2006:  Montreil Donell Johnson, 21, of 20 Third Ave., two misdemeanor warrants, driving without proper license, windows/windshield violation, failure to maintain financial responsibility, application for registration of motor vehicles
February 14, 2007: Montreil Donell Johnson, 21, of 20 Third Ave., nine counts failure to appear in court
February 22, 2007: Montreil Donell Johnson, 21, of 20 Third Ave., 12 counts of failure to appear in court, no operator's license, proof of insurance

 

Also living at 20 Third Avenue at the same time: 

February 21, 2007: Donna Vonsha Jones, 24, of 20 Third Ave., manner of driving, license revoked.
January 9, 2007: Donna Vonsha Jones, 24, of 20 Third Ave., driving while license is suspended or revoked, first-degree trespassing.
December 13, 2006: Donna Vonsha Jones, 24, of 20 Third Ave., third-degree assault.
November 8, 2006: Donna Vonsha Jones, 24, of 20 Third Ave., third-degree assault

December 13, 2006: Missy L. Johnson, 22, of 20 Third Ave., third-degree assault.

 

That's just four months -- Nov. to February -- in the seriously tragic life of another Gerau rental.
