-- Founded in 1985, local animal rescue agency Columbia Second Chance
(CSC) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a big announcement
that may even trump the ZooToo million dollar makeover.
"What we're about to unveil is a dream come true for our
organization," said CSC board member Shannon Kasmann.
In negotiations for months over what, at this point, can
only be called "the Really Big Deal Amir Ziv Helped Negotiate," CSC members and supporters say the big news wil take them to an
entirely new level of service.
"For anyone who loves animals, this is big -- really,
really big," said Ziv, a longtime CSC supporter and Kasmann's significant
other. "I wish I could tell you more about it, but we still have some i's to
dot and t's to cross, so stay tuned. All will be
revealed soon."
