COLUMBIA, 12/21/10 (Beat Byte) -- In a major management reshuffling, Columbia Daily Tribune publisher Hank
Waters has announced that Andy Waters and sister Elizabeth -- his two youngest
children -- will buy out four other family members and assume full ownership of
the century-old newspaper effective Jan. 1.
Waters will continue writing editorials, while wife Vicki Russell will
become publisher. General manager Jack Waters and vice president Mary Waters,
Waters' other children, will retire from their positions at the paper, also in
January.
