BOGUS PRESS RELEASE: Coaches, analysts weigh in on Mizzou's Haith

COLUMBIA, 4/13/11  (Beat Byte) --  Between Hitler and the Internet, even a millionaire basketball coach can't catch a break.

Glowing reports sent to reporters by JoeSportsFan podcasters Matt Sebek and Josh Bacott have ESPN basketball analysts and college basketball coaches purportedly weighing in on newly-hired Mizzou basketball coach Frank Haith -- but with a catch.

The bogus press release represents a "first draft" that has each author scratching out derogatory comments in favor of more favorable remarks.

"I have known Frank Haith for a long time, and I truly believe he is one of the best coaches that didn't turn Mizzou down in the business," writes University of Texas coach Rick Barnes.

"Frank Haith is a really good young coach that knows the Big 12 and really understands how to finish 6th in it the game," adds ESPN Basketball analyst Jay Bilas.

The parody continues controversy over Haith's hiring in the wake of former Mizzou basketball coach Mike Anderson's untimely departure for a cool 2.2 mill in Arkansas
